Holy River of Plastic
A holy river full of plastic. A communist state catapulted into capitalism.
“Through deconstruction and abstraction of field recordings made in Kolkata, I produced an acousmatic composition that
explores the impacts of plastic on the rapidly developing city. The piece was exhibited alongside a video by artist Baishampayan Saha, with whom I collobarated with as part of a 2 week residency in Kolkata”.
Acoustmatic Composition, 13 min 40sec. Exhibited on a Boat on the Hooghly River, Strand Rd, Kolkata, West Bengal 700021, India (2018).
